Then this past Friday we received this from our PM.
Good morning from Culpepper Landing,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on the progress we have made on your new home. We have completed the framing on the first floor and are about three quarters of the way done with work on the second floor walls right now. Your windows and doors arrived this morning and we will be installing roof trusses this afternoon. If the weather holds we will be putting the paper on the roof this weekend or early next week, shingles will follow immediately after that.
In the next week and a half to two weeks will be installing the HVAC, plumbing lines, and the electrical wiring. Around the same time the electrician is finishing up we will call/email you to set up our pre-drywall meeting that we discussed at your pre-construction meeting.
The pre-drywall meeting is a great chance for you to see what will be behind your drywall. By that point in construction the house will be "dried-in"' so to speak. This means that no rain will be able to come through the exterior envelope. At that time we will be able to give you the dates for your home orientation walk through.
We are right on track with where we thought we would be at this point, which is great news. I attached a picture that I took earlier today. If you have any questions for us, feel free to email or call.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Woo Hoo!
It's going up so quickly! |
Gosh, my boyfriend and I are ready to move out. It's to the point we're sick of Norfolk. He had a parking ticket on Thursday because he forgot to move his car for street sweeping... and then I got a bloody ticket the same day for not putting more coins in the meter. I got there a MINUTE before it ended... come on man.
Sick of this. I'm ready to move into the suburbs. Away from the crime, hipsters, and ratchetness at a local iHop.
Great progress!
