07/07/14 Super Late Updated Pics

Man has this weekend went by quick.

I've been procrastinating making a post. But here it is in all it's glory.

Our place is now locked since the cabinets are in, which sucks because we have to pick up the key at the model home office that's only open up to 6pm everyday. We always visit the home on Tuesdays at 7 to 8ish when the workers leave since there's always an open door. We like having the place to ourselves. Sadly, the next time we can go inside our home, would be Sunday when the workers aren't working.

We have a garage door!
Our mailbox!
Cabinets are in!

Fireplace w/mantel

Stairs next to the living room with the rail not stained yet.

I kinda like the non-balusters look.

Hall bathroom... I'm definitely changing the cabinets as soon as we close.

Master bath sink... Yes... definitely changing those cabinets.  Me no likes.

Master closet. I'm going to put a tiny vanity next to the window. I like sunlight.

Our neighbor next to us broke ground.

Check out that fat Ravenna.

Man cave attic!

Recessed lights in the man cave.

Downstairs from the attic.

Living Room and buckets of something

Kitchen with morning room

Oooh espresso

WOMP. Yeah... Nothing happened here. So my boyfriend and I are just going to do it ourselves... and not put anything in there. Gosh Ryan Homes you could at least make the cabinets fatter above the refrigerator.

View from the stove.

Our door with a glass window... eh. It's okay. Not my style, I wish it was red though. Ha.

Screen door and another door.

Our very tall garage. Setting up that opener is going to be a b*tch.

That's the highlight of my week so far. Oh! Since it was the 4th of July weekend, It was an opportunity to buy some appliances. We went ahead and purchase a washer, dryer, and a fridge. Yeah, I didn't want to swipe my card... I was really sad... But damn nab it, we wanted the world's largest capacity washer and dryer from Samsung... go big or go home, but in this case we're doing both. lol.
Hope Home Depot won't let us down. Would it be considered rude to ask the delivery people to put on some shoe covers on? I'm just saying....

    1. I know right! I can't wait. But I kinda want to break into my own home after hours since that's the time we're free. Bleh.

  3. Looks gorgeous, still loving the outside colors! Your neighborhood has so many houses with great colors (per that pic of your neighbors), my neighborhood full of grey and tan seems so boring now! Love your cabinets in kitchen, I had sleepless nights going between our maple cognac and those. Just gorgeous!

    1. Thanks Chrissie!! Oh I don't think your neighborhood is boring. If grey was available I would chose it next if all the colors were taken. I was hesitant on getting espresso also because I didn't want it to look too dark but the morning room makes up for it to bring some light into them! I love the maple cognac! It's a classy color!

  7. I love the look of a Venice. I always love the front elevations. Yours looks so great.

I too love the colors in your subdivision. Our sub is connected to the village hall in our area, so the colors were basically dictated by them. There is one blue and one green to choose from. My husband went back and forth with the green but it wasn't a good shade like you have. It was almost a pastel color... So tan we will be.

I am so excited for you. You are in the home stretch for sure!

    1. Thanks for the kind words Bridget! Tan is a good shade! That's why I used it for the my secondary color with the green. I really thought the green on my Venice was really, "POW!" Haha, it's really vibrant. I had no other choice but green or tan colors... so why not do both? lol. I can't wait to see your home gets completed too! It looks so good!
